A browser-based dialer built on Twilio Voice
A web dialer for an outbound calling operation: place and control calls from the browser, with Twilio handling the carrier side and the application handling everything the caller sees.
Context
What the client needed.
The client needed to run calling from a web application rather than desk phones or a third-party dialer they could not extend. The work was to build the dialer and integrate Twilio so that calls, call state and call records lived inside their own product.

Browser dialer
Keypad, contact dialing, in-call controls (mute, hold, hang up) and live call state in the UI.

Twilio Voice integration
Outbound calling through Twilio, with the token flow, TwiML and status webhooks needed to keep the app and the carrier in sync.

Call records
Call history with duration and outcome, stored in the client's own database rather than only in Twilio.

Handover
Deployed with documentation and configuration the client owns end to end.
